  • For the patty:
  • 500 g ground beef
  • ½ onion (grated)
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1 tsp mustard
  • 1 tsp sweet paprika powder
  • Salt & pepper
  • A little olive oil for frying
  • For the garlic-onion relish:
  • 1 onion
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp balsamic vinegar
  • 1 tsp olive oil
  • For the herb dip:
  • 150 g yogurt
  • 2 tbsp mayonnaise
  • 1 clove garlic
  • Fresh herbs (e.g. chives, parsley, basil)
  • Salt, pepper, lemon juice

Application Tip No. 2

Grate fresh ingredients on a damp grater.

To grate fruits and vegetables such as strawberries and apples, or ginger and garlic, moisten the grater beforehand with a drop of water, oil, lemon juice or similar. It slides better and can be easily removed with a brush.

Preparation

  1. For your particularly aromatic burger recipe, finely grate onion then garlic on yourdip bowl. The fine grating brings out the full aroma and ensures that everything is perfectly distributed in the meat and sauces.
  2. Relish: Heat the oil in a pan. Sauté the grated onion until translucent, add the sugar and let it caramelize slightly.
  3. Then stir in the grated garlic and balsamic vinegar. Simmer over low heat until the relish thickens.
  4. Patties:In a bowl, mix ground meat, grated onion, grated garlic, mustard, paprika powder, salt, and pepper.
  5. Form into 4 patties and fry in a pan with a little oil until golden brown on both sides.
  6. If desired, top with cheese and let it melt briefly.
  7. Herb Dip:Finely grate the garlic into the dip bowl, mix with yogurt and mayonnaise. Chop herbs and mix everything with the silicone spatula.
  8. Season with salt, pepper, and a little lemon juice.
  9. Assemble the burger:Halve the buns, toast briefly. Spread with herb dip, place the patty on top, add relish, tomato slices, and arugula – put the lid on, done!
