Warm, creamy, and salty-sweet: Ripe pears soften in the oven and feature a core of melting Gorgonzola, topped with walnuts freshly grated coarsely with the EasyGrater and a little honey. An elegant snack or appetizer classic: Baked pears with Gorgonzola, honey, and nuts – simple to make, impressive in taste.

Ingredients

1 Serving

  • 2 ripe pears (e.g., Conference)
  • 80g Gorgonzola (preferably "dolce")
  • 2 tbsp walnuts
  • 1-2 tsp honey
  • Optional: black pepper, fresh rosemary, arugula & baguette

Preparation

  1. For baked pears with Gorgonzola, honey, and nuts, preheat the oven to 180°C top/bottom heat. Halve the pears lengthwise and scoop out the core with a spoon.
  2. Place the halves in a baking dish and fill with Gorgonzola.
  3. Grate walnuts over the pears with the EasyGrater, then drizzle with honey.
  4. Bake for 12–15 minutes, until the cheese melts and the nuts are fragrant. Optional: grill for 1–2 minutes at the end for extra browning.

Tip: Top the baked pears with Gorgonzola, honey, and nuts with pepper or rosemary, if desired, serve on arugula, and enjoy with baguette.
