Perfect as a dip for tortilla chips and vegetable sticks, as a spread, or as a topping for tacos, bowls, and grilled vegetables. Make guacamole yourself now, it's easy.

Ingredients

4 Servings

  • 2 ripe avocados
  • 1 medium tomato
  • 1/2 lemon
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1 tbsp natural yogurt
  • Salt & pepper
  • Optional: ½ red onion, cilantro, chili, cumin

Application Tip No. 2

Grate fresh ingredients on a damp grater.

To grate fruits and vegetables such as strawberries and apples, or ginger and garlic, moisten the grater beforehand with a drop of water, oil, lemon juice or similar. It slides better and can be easily removed with a brush.

Preparation

  1. To prepare the guacamole, moisten the dip bowlwith a little water and finely grate the garlic cloves into the dip bowl.
  2. Quarter the lime, remove the seeds, and squeeze the juice and pulp into your dip bowl.
  3. Halve the avocado and remove the pit. Then scoop out the flesh with a spoon and mash it in a bowl with a fork.
  4. Add the avocado and 1 tbsp of yogurt to your dip bowl and mix everything with our silicone spatula.
  5. Finely dice the tomato and stir it in. Season generously with salt and pepper to taste. Let it sit for 10 minutes and serve the guacamole directly in your dip bowl.

Optional (for a more classic guacamole):Without yogurt; instead, use 2 tbsp finely diced red onion, a little cilantro, chili to taste, and a pinch of cumin.
