Crispy caramelized, fruity, and savory: Juicy figs get a golden sugar crust from the grill or blowtorch, are placed on freshly dressed lamb's lettuce, and finished with finely grated goat cheese from the EasyGrater. Ingredients

1 Serving

  • 8 ripe figs
  • 8 tsp icing sugar
  • 80–100 g goat gouda
  • 100–125 g lamb's lettuce
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp dark balsamic vinegar
  • Salt & pepper

Preparation

  1. For the caramelized figs, wash and halve the figs. Sprinkle cut sides with ½ tsp powdered sugar each.
  2. Caramelize: torch with a blowtorch or grill in the oven for 2–3 minutes until golden brown.
  3. Mix lamb's lettuce with dressing and arrange on plates.
  4. Top with figs. Grate goat cheese over the top with the EasyGrater(fine blade).Serve immediately.

Tip: If you love goat cheese, grate a few more flakes onto the lamb's lettuce with the coarse blade of the EasyGrater.
