  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 1 red chili
  • 1 tsp chili flakes
  • • 120 120 ml neutral oil (e.g. rapeseed or sunflower oil)
  • 1 tsp sesame seeds
  • ½ tsp salt
  • Optional: ½ tsp sugar

Application Tip No. 2

Grate fresh ingredients on a damp grater.

To grate fruits and vegetables such as strawberries and apples, or ginger and garlic, moisten the grater beforehand with a drop of water, oil, lemon juice or similar. It slides better and can be easily removed with a brush.

Preparation

  1. For the garlic chili oil, grate the garlic directly into your dip bowlfinely.
  2. Finely chop the chili and add it.
  3. Add chili flakes, sesame seeds, salt (and optionally sugar).
  4. Heat the oil in a small saucepan until hot (not smoking).
  5. Carefully pour the hot oil over the mixture in the dip bowl.
  6. Stir briefly and let cool down a bit – your garlic chili oil is ready. ✨

The garlic chili oil is perfect with gyoza, dumplings, noodles, rice, or roasted vegetables. Simply pour it over or dip – and everything instantly tastes more intense.
